Sarah focuses on the briefing, concept design and planning stages of projects, including a portfolio of specialist housing work. She has over 25 years’ experience of residential and mixed-use projects, and particular expertise in older people’s housing and extra care projects.
Sarah works closely with clients, end-users and local residents to produce successful and responsive outcomes. She says: “In the early stages of a project our role is to listen, to explain and to inspire people. Our challenge is to create popular new homes and neighbourhoods which also add value in the widest sense.’’
Before joining PTE Sarah worked on the conservation of The Midland Hotel and the Geffrye Museum, and also for the Peabody Trust on ‘independent living’ housing projects.
