Waltham Forest’s planning committee unanimously approved the proposals for 573 new homes and a new nursery school, redeveloping a former gasworks site. The site creates a new link from surrounding residential areas to Leyton Jubilee Park and the Lea Valley. PTE’s masterplan is tenure blind and includes 158 affordable homes.

The new homes are arranged in a series of ten buildings, ranging from two to eighteen storeys in height, connected by public spaces. The project includes two acres of landscaped public space, including play spaces and a new community square.
