The former Kodak site will provide a complete new urban neighbourhood and symbol of Harrow’s ambitious growth strategy. Working with Barratt, PTE is providing more homes and better homes, with improved connections and active frontages, within the parameters of an existing permission. The first phase, now under construction, contains 460 mid-rise apartments and houses plus the central section of a new linear park.
PTE is providing a full service from concept to completion.
“We are delighted to have secured reserved matters consent for the first phase of Harrow View East. We look forward to continuing our work with Hyde Group to breathe new life into this landmark site, providing much needed new homes and amenities for the area. We have a strong track record of working together on projects that deliver high quality homes and benefits for local people.”
Matt Calladine, Regional Land & Development Director, Barratt London
“This is an important first step in the delivery of this key site. The housing shortage in London will only be solved if we all play our part and work together. The Harrow View East site is a prime example of how partnerships, between organisations like Barratt London and Hyde, can deliver many of the new homes that the people of Harrow and London so desperately need.”
Tom Shaw, Operations Director (Development), the Hyde Group
“We are delighted to be working with Barratt and Hyde on this significant site. We have developed a design that supports the principles of the original BDP masterplan, and that enables a very positive and complimentary connection with the existing neighbourhood, to make this an attractive, familial new quarter in Harrow.”
