Hill’s spectacular headquarters were crafted from two derelict historic buildings and a new glazed office wing, in a sensitive landscape setting of water meadows. The Power House and Water Tower were formerly part of the Royal Gunpowder Mills.
PTE provided a full service from concept to completion.
“The new premises have enabled the company to bring together staff from three separate office buildings. This has had a very positive impact on team working; and is supporting our cross-disciplinary approach. Communal facilities for staff with better formal and informal meeting spaces encourage cross discipline working.
The real positive buzz that has now been created around the building is balanced by calm individual desk workspace – and has enhanced staff morale in this difficult climate and improved productivity. Not only is the new building itself an uplifting place in which to work, it has provided an inspiration to help the company grow and flourish.”
