Steve Deadman, Head of BIM BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering

Championing the use of BIM for project delivery, Steve has a proven record of developing strategies for cloud and collaborative working practices within prominent architectural practices.

Steve specialises in the implementation and management of BIM processes and technology, providing leadership, oversight and coordination in the practice, to promote the consistent application of BIM across all projects. He works closely with the PTE Knowledge Hub, Concept and Planning teams and senior management to identify the goals and tactics to guide the transition from traditional CAD practices into more integrated BIM processes.

Steve's role involves supporting and training staff and also liaising with clients. Working closely with PTE Revit users, architects and managers on projects he maintains a connection to project work and ensures the projects are consistently organised and properly audited.

By identifying and evaluating BIM trends and business opportunities, Steve keeps PTE informed on BIM/Revit developments.
