With a wide expertise in mixed-tenure residential, community, education, estate regeneration and consultation; at PTE Emma has played a key role in several large scale schemes. Prior to joining PTE, Emma was involved in extra care and supported housing.
Emma is enthusiastic about collaborative working process, enabling stakeholders to engage with the developing design and promoting knowledge sharing throughout the project team.
An example of her ability to add value is the Woodside co-housing project, where she identified the residents’ desire to have futureproofing features built in to the design, such as walk in showers.
Emma has previously analysed aspects of the relationship between society and the built environment, and is currently researching client engagement with design development.
