St Pauls Way Trust School and Burdett Estate Regeneration Project granted planning permission

St Pauls Way Trust School and Burdett Estate Regeneration Project has been granted planning permission.

Pollard Thomas Edwards was originally commissioned by Poplar HARCA to carry out a feasibility study for a new primary school combined with mixed tenure homes on a site in Mile End, East London. The site is part of the Burdett and Leopold Estate and is currently occupied by two residential blocks, a community centre and a mosque. The scheme will create two forms of entry primary schools, a new Mosque, 109 mixed tenure homes, and children’s and public amenity space.

It will be the first mixed use school scheme in Tower Hamlets, and PTE’s first mosque.
