Struggling town centres require a complex mix of uses to bring them back to life. We address this in our work by combining major public realm improvements with a range of building types, from civic and leisure facilities and homes to workplaces and retail space.

These are among the most complex commissions we take and demand the use of all our skills, from masterplanning, architectural and urban design to property development and community engagement.

Recent projects include a multiplex cinema alongside restaurants and homes; artists’ studios combined with loft apartments; and the restoration of historic railway infrastructure to create ‘maker’ spaces and an outdoor market.
