Roger Holdsworth, Partner
BA (Hons) DipArch ARB RIBA
Roger Holdsworth is an equity partner and is the director in charge of design delivery. He leads a specialist team which turns concept design into completed buildings. As well as providing a working drawings service to our contractor clients, Roger advises our planning stage teams on technical compliance and buildability.
“Successful design delivery requires a sound knowledge of construction coupled with a real understanding of how to translate concepts into reality. I was inspired by my father, who built complex oak staircases, and my grandfather, who taught me hand-drawing.”
Roger has long experience in the housing, mixed-use and regeneration sectors, and has both designed and delivered a series of successful and award-winning projects, ranging from large-scale masterplans to infill sites. He has a special interest in complex high-density developments, including large urban housing and mixed-use projects.
Roger’s team is currently championing Building Information Management, BIM, which sets out to coordinate information throughout the entire project team of consultants, contractors and sub-contractors. He also oversees the provision of technical advice to all project teams from concept to completion, the auditing of projects for compliance with regulations and standards and the promotion of efficient and intelligent ways of working.
